Conservatives and Liberals will never agree on major issues. It is better to separate now, rather than battle until their is a civil war. Liberals will fight aggressively for Conservatives to stay in the Union of the United States, because if they permit any state to secede, there will be a rapid immigration rush of the most successful and intelligent Americans to the new conservative country. Liberals and freeloaders will have few taxpayers left to pay for their free stuff. They would rapidly go bankrupt.
Conservatives do not want marriage counseling with Liberals, they want a divorce.

I’m a social conservative and finishing my Ph.D. for what it is worth, but liberals are highly concentrated among well-educated professionals, not the freeloading classes. Freeloaders are mostly apolitical, secondly moderate to conservative Democrats and independents (by their own description). However, if you want to consider people who don’t pay income tax freeloaders, people whose multiple child tax credits make up for the tax on their measly incomes, I think this 47%er category would include lots of evangelical Christians who vote GOP.
The average liberal is a would-be yuppie who finished college and maybe a graduate degree and who believes the propaganda he or she was taught and hears daily from the MSM. This is pretty bad and I actually prefer the company of freeloaders to stereotypical liberals, but you’ve got to realise what you are talking about. If you don’t understand what you are demonising, you cannot defeat it.
