I’m a social conservative and finishing my Ph.D. for what it is worth, but liberals are highly concentrated among well-educated professionals, not the freeloading classes. Freeloaders are mostly apolitical, secondly moderate to conservative Democrats and independents (by their own description). However, if you want to consider people who don’t pay income tax freeloaders, people whose multiple child tax credits make up for the tax on their measly incomes, I think this 47%er category would include lots of evangelical Christians who vote GOP.

The average liberal is a would-be yuppie who finished college and maybe a graduate degree and who believes the propaganda he or she was taught and hears daily from the MSM. This is pretty bad and I actually prefer the company of freeloaders to stereotypical liberals, but you’ve got to realise what you are talking about. If you don’t understand what you are demonising, you cannot defeat it.

Without question the worst president in history was Abraham Lincoln. This president who would “save the union” did so at the cost of 750,000 American military between the North and South, He initiated an unconstitutional war, wrongfully violated the writ of habeus courpus, turned a blind eye as his Union military pillaged, burned and looted the South, did nothing to stop the wonton rape and murder of defenseless women, men and children. Not to mention destroyed the republic as envisioned by the founders and set the country on a course to Communism.

The question of secession would be a complicated one. Many things would have to be worked out. The federal government has its tentacles so far into all the states that arrangement would have to be made to cut those tentacles. Don’t misunderstand me. I am all in favor of secession but it will not be an easy process as some think. Check out the article called “Oh Secession” on http://revisedhistory.wordpress.com which is only a week or so old to see comments about secession.

I absolutely disagree with your statement that a free and independent breakaway state or collection of states would be a more restrictive society. It would be a society that simply refuses to subsidize the foolishness and irresponsibility of its citizens. For example: you want an abortion? Fine. Pay for it yourself or find a private benefactor to pay for it. You can’t demand that your fellow citizens stay out of your personal decisions and, in the same breath, demand that they pay for your personal decisions.

we need to help each other by using charities and neighborly love. We need to uphold the 10 commandments and school choice. we need free elections. we should not be afraid to tell the truth. this is our last chance, before America is completely bankrupt and the executive orders reduce us to a state of totalitarianism.

It is time to stand up america and re define the issue in real terms. Not in the political correct language we have allowed our party to be framed by the socialist left. We need to educate America of what is going on here. Not to keep fighting the left with issues that are fodder for them. It is time we look at what walfare is and re define it. We need to ask, what program are we on and do we vote to save our program while voting against someone elses. Are we as guilty as them. Everyone in our Country needs to think. Has its come to this. I hope in our beloeved national athem people understand when its says “O’er THE LAND OF THE FREE” IT DOES NOT MEAN FREE S… It is time to think America.

I agree, Young people may have a new computer with a large hard-drive and much capability, but do not have enough stored data to make a wise decision. They just cancel out the good decisions of older and wiser data processors.
